Independent Classes

Preschool  Gymnastics: (3-5 years)

Preschool Gymnastics is designed for children who are in preschool or have not yet started Kindergarten. In this class, caregivers observe class from a distance, giving children the space to practice independence and strengthen their social skills. Students learn fundamental gymnastics skills as well as the importance of goal-setting and teamwork.

 

This class aims to introduce gymnastics basics, foster autonomy and self-confidence, emphasize direction following, turn taking, and problem solving, and nurture both physical and social-emotional development.​

Kinder  Gymnastics: (5-6 years)

Kinder Gymnastics is designed for children who are in Kindergarten and have no prior gymnastics experience or are still at the beginner level. Children learn and build upon fundamental skills, adding to their repertoire of physical capabilities and channeling their boundless energy in a fun and safe setting.

 

Age-appropriate games and challenges promote balance, agility, coordination, and concentration. Additionally, children practice listening, following directions, taking turns, and celebrating individual and peer progress.

 

This class aims to introduce gymnastics basics, strengthen social skills, boost physical fitness, and equip students to move up to the Beginnermediate Gymnastics class.

Beginner Gymnastics: (6-10 years)

Beginner Gymnastics is designed for children who are in grade school and have no prior gymnastics experience or are still at the beginner level. Children learn and build upon fundamental skills, adding to their repertoire of physical capabilities and channeling their boundless energy in a fun and safe setting.

 

Age-appropriate games and challenges promote balance, agility, coordination, and concentration. Additionally, children practice taking calculated risks, setting personal goals, and celebrating individual and peer progress.

 

This class aims to introduce gymnastics basics, encourage evaluation of personal progress, boost physical fitness, and equip students to move up to the Beginnermediate Gymnastics class.

Beginnermediate Gymnastics: (6-10 years)

Beginnermediate Gymnastics is designed for children who are in grade school and have prior gymnastics experience. Students who are able to perform the listed prerequisite skills may participate in Beginnermediate Gymnastics.

 

Students are introduced to new skills from USAG level 1 & 2 and work on honing fundamental skills. Children practice taking calculated risks, setting personal goals, and celebrating individual and peer progress.

 

This class aims to boost physical fitness, encourage evaluation of personal progress, and equip students to move up to the Intermediate Gymnastics class.

 

Beginnermediate Prerequisites: 

-Forward and backward roll

-Cartwheel

-Kick to handstand against wall

-Bridge with head off floor

Intermediate Gymnastics: (6-10 years)

Intermediate Gymnastics is designed for children who are in grade school and have prior gymnastics experience. Students who are able to perform the listed prerequisite skills may participate in Intermediate Gymnastics.

 

Students are introduced to new skills from USAG level 2 & 3 and work on honing USAG level 1 and fundamental skills. Children practice taking calculated risks, setting personal goals, and celebrating individual and peer progress.

 

This class aims to promote teamwork and sportsmanship, encourage evaluation of personal progress, boost physical fitness, and equip students to explore next steps. These include re-enrolling in Intermediate Gymnastics, taking private lessons, or exploring program options at local centers that offer advanced classes.

 

Intermediate Prerequisites:

-All Beginnermediate skills

-Round-off

-Handstand hold for 1 second

-Handstand to bridge

-Bridge kick-over with feet elevated
